Juliana M. Lyons’ practice focuses primarily on family law and civil litigation.
She represents clients in all areas of family law and domestic relations matters, including divorce, child and spousal support, custody and visitation, protective orders, retirement orders, post-divorce modifications, and drafting and negotiation of prenuptial and marital settlement agreements. In her civil litigation practice, Juliana represents individuals and businesses in contract disputes, residential and commercial construction litigation, and landlord-tenant matters.
Juliana has extensive courtroom experience and has argued cases in state courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is known for her thorough preparation, strategic advocacy, and commitment to achieving practical, results-driven solutions for her clients. As a military spouse, she has a deep understanding of the unique and often complex legal issues involving military personnel.
Prior to joining Blankingship & Keith, Juliana practiced at a civil litigation firm in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area, where she handled a broad range of contested civil and domestic matters.
A Northern Virginia native, she began her legal career clerking for the Honorable Penney S. Azcarate, Chief Judge of the Fairfax County Circuit Court, gaining invaluable insight into judicial analysis and decision-making.
