Blankingship & Keith appellate attorney Juli M. Porto successfully defended a favorable trial court ruling in Pope v. Pope before the Court of Appeals of Virginia. The court upheld the trial court’s decisions on equitable distribution and spousal support, rejecting appellant’s claims that the trial court erred. The appellate court rejected her challenges to the valuation of retirement accounts, the amount and duration of support, the denial of sanctions for discovery violations, and the award of attorney fees to Ms. Porto’s client.
