Blankingship & Keith Welcomes Veteran Trial and Appellate Lawyer Michael W. Robinson as Principal

Blankingship & Keith is pleased to announce that Michael W. Robinson has joined the firm as a Principal. Robinson, formerly a partner at Venable LLP, and a past-president of the Virginia State Bar, is widely recognized as a first-chair trial lawyer with extensive experience in complex commercial, corporate, real estate, professional liability litigation, and appellate advocacy in Virginia state and federal courts.

Over the course of his career, Robinson has tried high-stakes business disputes, fiduciary duty and intra-corporate disputes cases, and professional liability matters before juries and judges across the Commonwealth. He has also argued appeals before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Robinson’s practice bridges trial and appeal, an increasingly critical strength in complex litigation. His ability to shape issues early with an eye toward appellate review provides clients with strategic continuity from the outset of a case through final resolution.
