Blankingship & Keith strengthens Commercial Litigation practice with addition of Robert E. Scully, Jr.

Scully-HSRobert E. Scully, Jr. has joined Blankingship & Keith, P.C.’s Civil Litigation Practice as a principal. His practice focuses on business tort, corporate governance, trusts and estates, construction, and intellectual property litigation. He has more than 38 years of first-chair trial experience in federal and state courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He joins Blankingship & Keith from the Alexandria office of Stites & Harbison PLLC, where he was a member.

“Bob has outstanding legal skills and an established reputation as a litigator,” said William Porter, managing principal for Blankingship & Keith. “He will be instrumental in expanding our civil litigation practice to meet the needs of our clients.”

Scully has chaired the Litigation Section and the Standing Committee on Lawyer Discipline of the Virginia State Bar. He is a regular presenter of Continuing Legal Education programs and a contributor to publications of the Virginia State Bar and other organizations. He received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
