Blankingship & Keith PC Welcomes James R. Meizanis, Jr. as Newest Partner
Blankingship & Keith PC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Meizanis as its newest partner, effective January 1, 2024. Jim brings significant expertise to the firm, focusing his practice on creditors' rights, commercial real estate, and corporate matters.
An alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University, Jim earned his B.S. in Finance and Minor in Economics in 2007, followed by his J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law School, in 2010.
Before joining Blankingship & Keith PC, Jim handled a diverse range of residential real estate matters for some of the nation’s largest mortgage lenders and servicers in state and federal courts throughout Virginia and Maryland.
Jim's commitment to excellence has earned him several notable accolades, including being recognized as a Rising Star in Real Estate by Virginia and D.C. Super Lawyers consecutively from 2016 to 2023. Additionally, he was recently named in U.S. News - Best Lawyers in America's Ones To Watch in Real Estate Law for the year 2024.
