Mason E. Miller is an associate at Blankingship & Keith, where he practices civil litigation.
Before joining the firm, Mason clerked for the Honorable Lisa M. Lorish of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. He reviewed briefs and trial court records, conducted legal research, and drafted opinions, orders, and bench memoranda.
Mason previously worked at Blankingship & Keith as a summer associate. He assisted attorneys with matters involving contract, education, employment, estate, family, and zoning law.
While in law school, Mason also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Douglas E. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Junius P. Fulton, III, of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.
Mason graduated magna cum laude from William & Mary Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif, served on the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, and received CALI Awards in Federal Income Taxation and Legal Research & Writing I. Before law school, he worked in the private client group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, assisting with estate planning, probate, tax, and fiduciary matters.
Outside the office, Mason is a Boston Red Sox fan and enjoys leatherworking.
