Blankingship & Keith, P.C. is pleased to welcome Lindy K. Stevens to the firm as an associate. Her practice focuses primarily on education law and estate planning matters.
“Lindy is a tremendous asset to our team of attorneys and enhances our capabilities to serve our clients adeptly,” said William B. Porter, managing principal of the firm.
Before joining the firm, Stevens completed a clerkship with the Honorable Jane Marum Roush of the Supreme Court of Virginia. Before attending law school, she was an elementary school teacher for Teach for America, a national teacher corps of recent college graduates who commit two years to teach and effect change in under-resourced urban and rural public schools. She was also previously a coach for Girls on the Run, a nonprofit program for girls in the third through eighth grade, whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
Stevens graduated cum laude from the Washington and Lee University School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
