Robert M. Falconi


Bob Falconi is a native of Northern Virginia, who joined Blankingship & Keith’s education law and litigation practice after completing a clerkship with the Fairfax County Circuit Court.

Bob provides legal advice and assistance to school division administrators, teachers and other employees on employment law issues, FOIA, student rights and employee obligations under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and its state law corollary, special education and disability issues, and other matters of importance to Virginia’s public schools. He has a special interest and experience with the Virginia Procurement Act.  Bob also represents school boards and school employees in administrative investigations with the EEOC and the Office of Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education, as well as in the state and federal courts, and has drafted briefs on appeal to the Fourth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Bob is a member of the Virginia Council of School Attorneys, the Association of Local Government Attorneys of Virginia, and the Virginia State Bar.
