Jessica L. Sura


Jessica Sura tries cases and handles appeals for corporate and individual clients in Virginia courts. She has extensive experience in all phases of litigation: taking and defending depositions, motions practice, trying cases, litigating appeals, and negotiating favorable settlements.   
As part of her commercial litigation practice, Jessica prosecutes and defends breach of contract disputes, legal malpractice actions, and other business torts. A former clerk with expertise in local practice and procedure, Jessica effectively partners with large international law firms on behalf of institutional clients.  
Jessica also devotes a significant part of her practice to fighting on behalf of people who have suffered serious personal injuries. In particular, Jessica has substantial experience representing traumatic brain injury victims, as well as children who have experienced serious physical or psychological harm.     
Jessica maintains a robust pro bono practice. Her clients have included domestic violence survivors, individuals struggling to recover their medical payments insurance coverage, and victims of unfair and deceptive consumer practices.
